The Tom Quick (Indian Slayer) Inn Pt. 2

The Tom Quick Inn, named for Tom Quick the Indian Slayer. Tom Quick was an 18th century frontiersman and Indian fighter who vowed to shed the blood of as many Indians as possible; this after having seen his 66 year old father killed and scalped by Lenape Indians in the year 1756. Quick's thirst for vengeance and subsequent slaying of 100 or more Indians all took place in or around Milford, Pennsylvania along the Delaware river. With respect to the inn, a 2010 article from the poconorecord.com website reads, "That the owners of the inn closed it due to unforeseen circumstances." The inn stood on 411 Broad Street in Milford, Pennsylvania, and closed sixteen months after it re-opened.
